I bid a job today in a very nice part of town, older homes in the 300k range Diyer left drum marks all over 800 sqft. in 3 rooms. I'm fairly new to the business so I've never seen it just heard about it. If I get the job I'll post b&a pics. wonderin if everyone sees it alot or just occassionally

Sure do on refinishes. Sometimes, it's a joke, all the sanding marks and gouges. But the ones I enjoy the most are when they crosscut the floors at 90 degrees to the grain and leave it that way! What were they thinking? :?

these are all with the grain I think i'm gonna make first cut at a 10 degree angle. Is that the best way you've found to get them out. I think the buffer will get it's workout on it too.
