My sister and brother in law bought a little get away condo. It's an upper floor, 25 yrs old, and no leaks. They pulled the carpets and it's gypcrete. The brother in law and I have both done a few floors so putting in a glued bamboo floating floor looks like something we can handle. But, what do we do to prepare the gypcrete for a lasting intall? I've searched and read a lot of messages but I remain confused. Could somebody just list the steps and the correct materials to be used? Also, whats the best underlayment for this installation?

Thanks in advance,

Jan

Go to Ardex's website and look for GS-4, then look up the specs for installation.

Thanks Perry, the Ardex website really is informative. Any tips on a top grade underlayment?
