 Post subject: Gluing bamboo over vinyl

I plan to glue bamboo over vinyl. Should I rough up (sandpaper) the vinyl for better adhesion since it has a fairly glossy surface? Is Bostik urethane a good afhesive to accomplish this? Thanks!
