Hello World,

I just bought some Bruce Lock and Fold Hardwood at Lowes. I asked the salesman if this product can be glued down, and he told me that he couldn't give me an answer to that question due to warranty liability issues. Does anyone know if this product can be glued down? Does anyone recommend glueing it down? I dont like the feel and sound of floating floors. Please advise me, before I break the boxes open.

If Bruce does not say it should be, or can be glued down, then it shouldn't. You do not want to void the warranty. Get something else if you do not want to float the floor.

Ya, why buy a floor designed to be floated if your intent was to glue it down?
There are plenty of glue down products out there, hopefully the store where you bought it will accept it back as a trade towards another purchase.
Mechanically, you could glue it down anyway, but as Gary indicated this could, and probably would void any warrantee you might have.
