Hi

Question about installation types, I'm a soon to be DIY
While shopping for flooring, am seeing installtion types as

Glue
Glue or staple

Must I select the flooring that is listed as "glue or staple" to use staples ?
Or can a glue type be stapled ?
I do not want to do glue, it sounds horrible

Most "glued types" can be stapled. Although there are some exceptions. You always want to refer to the manufacturers installation requirements on the specific product.

Be careful...definitely check the manufacturer's instructions thoroughly. Alot of the ones that only list "glue" are click-type floors...many of those will not accomodate fasteners.

And a lot of the ones that say staple/glue are not made to float if its T&G.
