Two Questions:
1st- I am considering installing eng. hardwoodflooring 3" x 8mm (White Oak) on subflooring, my question is it says to glue down(too messy) can I nail it instead?
2nd-I dont have a nailer and don't want to have to buy a nuematic, is there some sort of electric nailer reasonably priced that I can use instead?

If it says glue down only, they mean only. Most of Bruces engineered is glued down only.

Thanks! Our problem started with buying fromm LL absolute crap, HUGE mistake now I'm trying to match up the entry way up to the stairs finally found Bruce 3" x 3/8" eng. Nat. reasonably priced (actually got the 15 sq ft. per carton instead of mostly *&%@ I bought before lesson learned!!), it says that we can nail/glue I'm going to nail although, I want to also bead some sort of adhesive for the stairs , my question now is do I need to put down paper underlayment? Thanks so much for any advice. This web site has been a huge help I only wish I would have found it before my previous exp.
