I am installing a strand-woven bamboo floor using Bostik Durabond D321 Zero-VOC Premium Wood Flooring Urethane Adhesive. Will this adhesive work properly with Georgia Pacific Sturd-i-board as the subfloor?

Thanks

Don't glue to your main subfloor, put down an underlayment. If you don't you may regret it.

Thanks for your comment. Could you explain a little further? Why would I regret it later? What type of underlayment would be best?

Well first let me explain as our old friend and moderator used to lecture us on the use of subfloor vs underlayment. The subfloor is the layer fastened directly to the floor joists. The underlayment is another layer on top be it 1/4 to a full 3/4 inch ply or OSB, preferably ply.

The real subfloor has the walls build on top of it. So if you have to pull up the floor for any reason.........think about it.
