I'm planning to glue down engineered wood (3/8" x 4 3/4" wide) to a plywood subfloor in 2nd floor bedrooms and hallways.

Flooring manufacturer specs say "Use premium flooring adhesive which is non-water based, formulated for hardwood flooring installation. Preferred type: moisture cure urethane floor glue.".

My flooring rep recommends "Roberts 1407 4-gal. Engineered Wood Glue Adhesive", while I have read Mapei i.e, Ultrabond Eco 980 or 995 is the way to go.

Which adhesive, would you use and why?

Thanks!
