Looking to install Brazilian Cherry 1/2 Engineered. This is a glue down instalation. I'm installing on a 8yr old 2ft above grade slab. Wondering how a floor that is glued down will expand?

Use a good moisture cure urethane adhesive like Bostik's BST, BEST, or Bruce Equalizer. The adhesive has some elasticity to allow for slight movement without breaking the bond. Test your concrete too.

Being an engineered it will have very little movement, if any at all.

Engineered is very forgiving as far as expansion space is concerned. Many engineered manufacturers have in their installation specs, that no expansion space is needed(Mannington for one)

All movement in engineered is in the lengths, unless the core plies are finger boards with space between(like WFI)

If it is a quality product, lateral movement is pretty much a non-issue.
