Is there any benefit, when installing bamboo 5/8" wood flooring, to stapling down to the underlayment and glueing tongue and grooves (like a floating floor) to one another?

Would this be good, bad, or ugly?

Is it worth the extra time and effort?

That don't sound like a good plan to me. It has the potential to create a phenomena called side bonding.
