Hey all great forum, I read the post about covering the sub floors I have 2x8 planks running at a 45 in relation to the floor joists. So I took the advice of the sticky and purchased ½ inch cdx plywood. I have already put screws in between all the nails. Which took a lot of the squeak out of the floor now I’m ready for the plywood.

I plan to glue and screw them to the floors using 2 inch course thread deck screws.
What kind of glue would be ideal for this? Liquid nails?
How much should I put on one 4x8 sheet?

Thanks for all the great info

Nick

Subfloor adheasive(sp?) and one large tube per sheet is what I use. 28oz

Thanks for the quick response
Can I stagger the sheets and butt them up together, or do they need to be spaced?
Also is a ¼ inch gap between the wall enough for expansion or do I need to go more?

Humidity is about 60% in the house and only changes up or down 5%
