Have a quote for 3/8 x 3 engineered wood, 700 sq. ft. glue down install, includes all transition pieces and quarter round.
$4,500, good or bad ?

Without knowing the particulars, like quality of the wood, demo carpet, flatness of the slab, contaminants (sealers, paint etc) on the slab, adhesive used (included or not), vapor retarder( included or not), moisture testing, and layout I would say this is very cheap. I would be concerned somone is going to skip something. My labor could run that much.

Must be some really cheap imported hardwood.

6.42 would be right on around here with that type product. Of course they wont check flatness or moisture. they roll up carpet, sweep and start spreading the glue!

Probably no acclimation either I bet, or "proper" moisture testing. I see that allot with those people who do next day installations. Find a local qualified independent guy instead of these huge company's.

No complaints? Are you kidding?
