I was reading the archives and saw a procedure you wrote about removing a nail down plank. I have a plank I would like to remove on my glue down engineered. Does the same procedure apply? Cut along the sides of the existing plank then make a diagnal cut joining the two side cuts, then cut the bottom grove of the new plank and glue the new plank in?

Yes it is the same, only you have glue to scrape, after getting the board out.
