I am putting down wood flooring in my new home. I am looking at either real bamboo or laminate bamboo. My dog is a 55lb dog. Which is the best choice for those circumstances. And, which laminate product, with a bamboo look, is recommended.

Laminate will definitely hold up better. We have a 55 lb dog that has trashed our bamboo where he has hardly done anything to the oak floors.
Shaw has a commercial line called commerce, the is bamboo in that line. You should be fine if you go with a better line from any of the manufacturers go to a flooring retailer not LL or one of the box stores. On a side note Pergo Doesn't seem to stand by there products and honor claims.
