I'm Happy! St. Louis clinched the world series! A well deserved win. But another reason is for Tony LaRussa. I had the good pleasure of working for Mr. and Mrs LaRussa a few years ago on a project in their N. Ca. residence. I added on to their existing wood floors and refurbished their wood floors. I also installed a dance floor for Mrs. LaRussa. Both Tony and Elaine are a class act. They treated me with respect and consideration. With all their notoriaty, they could choose to be snobs. But they're not. Tony and Elaine are very committed to their work with animals through their ARF Foundation.

I had the opportunity to talk with Tony for a time and he loves baseball and animals of all kinds. I admire the man and am happy for him and the St. Louis Cardinals for their 2006 World Series win.

Though I'm not really a Cardinals fan, I do truly enjoy hearing about people with fame and fortune who do not feel 'soiled' by coming in contact with 'the common man'.
