Gents, I am installing white oak unfinished and would like to match the photo below. Does anyone know what stain/combination to use to match this. It looks to me like this is white oak. I tried a coffee/antique brown and it had a similar color but was way too dark. I want to see the variation in the color of the wood. Is there a way to make a stain lighter, like diluting it with natural (clear) stain.

Is this oak and does anyone have a guess as to how to match this color?

It is a white oak floor that Im sure of, as far as stain goes it almost looks like an oil based natural. Id try early american or fruitwood, stain colors will differ dependant on the sanding sequence. the finer the floor is sanded the less the stain will be able to penetrate leving a lighter color. On a side note you can lighten any color with a neutral base.

It looks like wide plank rustic oak. Remind me of a line from US Floors - Navarre

they have a special oil finish but it's not typical oil based poly. I would call them to understand how they get that effect. They may or may not tell you.

not sure, but maybe you could get there w/ tung oil.

Oh, and I agree, it looks natural...it doesn't look like it has a stain. That being said, I think fruitwood or something similar might come somewhat close.
