I have a Clarke American FloorCrafter 8" Belt Sander for sale. Used, but in awesome condition. Great for someone looking to replace a 120v sander, excellent replacement for your older sander, or someone looking to get into the business. Comes with 2 dust bags, the pictured 220v cord, tools to work on the sander, an extra 50' extension cord, some 40 and 80 grit belts and the roll cart for the bottom of the machine. The drum was recently turned, upper roller bearing replaced and everything precision aligned. You can contact me at 6five1-two one 0 - five8six7. text me first to check a good time to call. $3000 OBO

I also have 3 bostich flooring staplers. No leaks or problems. $240 OBO each

I'm working on getting a youtube video of the machine and staplers in action.

Here are some pics of the sander:

I'd say your prices are OK on the staplers but it is a $1,000 sander at best.

A $5500+ tax brand new sander is now worth $1000 in very good used condition? Shocking.

So using that train of thought, the nailers retain a 60% value and the sander retains an 18% value. Why is it so skewed?

I think I'm going to put it on ebay and just eat the seller fees.

Thats the market right now unfortunately. Five years ago you could have gotten 3k for it if its in excellent shape now the same machine is lucky to get 2k. Have one just like it sitting in the warehouse for several months for 2500. Ive had tons of people ask about it but no one with the cash. There is just more people getting out of the business than getting in right now thats whats hurting the resale value.

I would say the sander is worth about $1500 and the nailers about $150-$200. THat is judging by used stuff I have bought. I have bout 2 used Hummels one from 05 and one from 06 and I paid $1200, and $1500 for them. The other guy is right about the market for them now. Ebay would get you the most money, but you will have to deal with shipping the stuff.

I agree..your best bet is ebay. List an auction with a reserve price,( minimum that you would sell for). Then set up an account with Freight Quote.com, ( really easy). Strap it to a pallet, and wrap it.

Don't list your ebay auction for pick up only. It's a waste of time.

( PM me if you have questions..I'm an ebay guru  )

Well, I guess I should offer it for the $1500 I'm going to set the reserve at before it hits ebay. Any takers at that price?
