I'm new to hardwood flooring, and I'd like to have my condo living and bedroom done over plywood. My wife and I both like the Brazilian Cherrywood color but Money is a major concern. I've seen Bellawood Brazilian Cherry for $2.99 but its only 5/16". Should I be concerned about this thickness, it may not be nailable, or is there something better out there for the money??

Welcome to the site JGJERSEY .. I haven't heard any good things about Bellawood .. Is your condo on a slab , and you want to install it over plywood ?

Interesting you haven't heard anything good about Bellawood! It seems to have BoB Villa's backing and boosts a 50year warranty. It has limited distribution and seems to be only available here at LumberLiquidators.
I currently have carpet over cement, so I'm looking at putting down a plywood subfloor.

Interesting because Bob is getting paid .. Warranty's aren't all they are cracked up to be either .. You might consider doing a floating nail down floor .. If you like you can PM for my phone number and i can go over everything with you ..

Those 100 year warranties are ridiculous. Ooops, 50 years. No difference. An article I put together...

Check your condo associations regulations, on hard surface flooring!!!

You may be taking it all back up, if you don't follow sound transmission requirements.

Rush Limbaugh backs the LL too.

Like most things, you get what you pay for.........especially when it comes to wood flooring.

Dr. Laura too! Pay them enough and they'll say what you want to hear. I thought Dr. Laura had more integrity. But they most likely don't know the difference. LL is just one of the radio stations sponsors I'd guess.
