Gentlemen, What do You prefer for floor vents and why?I'm kind of leaning towards solid brass ones myself because they are a lower profile than the wood ones .same price 20$ bones.Opinions ?
P.S. thanks for all the previous posts that I've gained some good info on.Peace 8)

Man I wish I would have saw that pic. before I laid half the floor and canvassed the masses...Perhaps a router job in store for the future....hmmm.thx for the heads up Floorguy :idea:

I do matching wood floor registers all the time. On a few occasions, metal looks good.
This one I did in my house.
