Hello - Hoping someone here can help diagnose my issue. Our hardwood flooring was installed when our home was built in August 2018. From spring through fall, it makes crunching/crackling noises when we walk on it. In the winter, the sound is less noticeable. Humidity in our home is kept between 35-55%.

The flooring is 1/2" x 5". This is the flooring:

Have you tried finding out who built the house or laid the flooring? They ought to have records including who laid the floor. This is required for licensed contractors in CA.
