Which would work better/quicker to sand the seams down on my OSB subfloor that are high?

Belt Sander or Floor Edger

I am going to rent either one.

Let me know what you think.

I use 36 grit on my 12"belt sander.

I don't know what grits they come. I assume the coarser the better. I don't own an edger yet :D

I been using a 40 grit on my 3x21 belt sander. The edger would be much quicker and do a better job than my belt sander does.

the roughest they have for the edger is what you need, you can find edger disc down to 16 grit anything 36 or lower should work fine.
