I'm looking to put engineered wood on top of my soft concrete floor in my condo unit which is on the second floor.....

Is floating engineered hardwood floors better than glue down floor in terms of foot impact noise for the people living below us in our building?

Is cork the best underlayment to reduce this noise? Any other products out there you guys recommend(Impacta, QuietWalk, vinyl, foam)?

Any recommendations on the type and brand of the wood I should get if I'm looking for 5 inch wide/dark red wood?

Thanks!
