Im considering a floating install of an engineered hardwood over a concrete slab and have a couple of questions.

1) Since the subfloor is concrete (and very cold in the Winter) Im thinking of installing a radiant heating system

I kind of like this one because its thin, and seems to be easy to install (just lay it down and plug it in)

Anyone know about these types of systems? Whats good and whats not?

2) I want to do a single plank Engineered HW, Which type of assembly method is better? Click Together or Glue Together?

#1 - Warmly yours is a good system, just make sure you get the better thermostat. It controls the heating element so that the floor temp doesn't go above 80, which will might damage your floor.

#2 - I prefer the better "Click" systems. They make for a better fit, and go in faster.
