I read some of your comments that it is not advisable to float anything over parquet glued to the slab. I have an old parquet floted over slab. Would it be advisable to float engenered floor on top of it or should I pull of the parquet? Should I use any moisture barrier?
Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Most floating floors should not be installed over a older, wood floor that is attached to a concrete slab. The reason is that the concrete is continually emitting water vapor and if you install a floating floor over that other floor, you can trap that vapor in causing the older floor to buckle and possibly decay over time. You will need to remove the older floor first before installing the new floor.

To be honest I was kind of hoping I didn't have to do that, but I gues it's better to be safe than sorry.
