i have a client who moved a dance studio. it appears that 1) removing the original clips left voids that the new clips easily popped out of, and 2) the extreme dryness of the air in winter here (southeast michigan) has caused the floor to separate in a few places throughout the floor (one large separation at one end and several smaller separations throughout). all of the ends were glued together--none of the sides were glued.
any suggestions as to how we can pull the flooring back together (it's about 24' wide with separation at various spots mostly around the center of the floor), and keep the flooring together? will the humidity need to be brought back up first (and then maintained--it's in a strip mall with no humidifiers)?
thank you!
