I've got a basement that I'm having excavated. They will pour new concrete flooring but I'm wondering if they should just broom finish it or smooth finish it?
I want to float a hardwood floor over it but does it matter if its brush finish or smooth finish? I'd stick with a brush finish to save some money, but if anybody knows otherwise, please let me know.
