The location: My Mom's kitchen, adjoining family room and stairs in central Indiana.

The new floor: 3/4" solid red oak 2 1/4 strip flooring installed last month by yours truely. It was my 4th install and went in nicely.

The sanding and finishing will be done by my uncle this weekend. The remodel is a real family affair 8). He has some finishing experience, but this is the first time with Basic products. He ordered enough Commercial Catalyzed Sealer for 2 coats and Streetshoe semigloss for 2 coats as well as Basic's 18 inch T-bar.

Would any experienced people care to offer any advice before the application begins?

Thanks, Wendy
