Hi I have purchased some unfinished Lapacho flooring and was hoping to get some pointers on what would be the best way to finish the wood after sanding. I realize that I should have a good mask to filter the dust when sanding. I was thinking of first sealing the wood to prevent the tannins in the wood form bleeding out. Once I have sealed the wood I planning to use a finish like Bona Traffic. What do you guys think am I on the right track, what finishes and/or sealers would you use?

Any chance on hiring a pro? otherwise most of the answers are in here. spend a few days and you will learn a lot.
