We did a a Myrtle Floor using Shellac then Vermeister. It came out awesome in terms of depth. i.e. the curly patterns and burls looked three dimensional.
The problems was we had some pearls or blubs of topcoat that were around the floor. We redid the main areas leaving the closet undone. Now the floor looks good but not awesome - flat might be the correct adjective. If the closet part was not there as a yard stick you would think it looked good, but there is a noticeable difference when viewing the two.
Question what makes the difference between flat and eyepoping?
When the floor was redone, would the schallac have been affected? a differnence in buffing? Look forward to your feed back
