I purchased some seconds from Lumber Liquidators...Bellawood Brazilian Cherry. Overall it looks good and very few of the pieces appeared imperfect but unfortunately some of the bad pieces were installed. Those pieces appear to be lacking in finish as they look matte instead of glossy. I still have plenty of good pieces left but instead of ripping out the bad ones to replace them, I would like to attempt to apply polyurethane to the bad pieces selectively. I would appreciate any advice about what type of finish to apply and number of coats and anything else you think I should know. Thanks!

You will never match the prefinished floors finish with polyurethane since the finish on your floors is aluminum oxide. To make a long story short, either replace the boards or live with it. No touch ups
