Ken - This looks awesome. Great info and super job in making it easy to follow and professionally done. You are leaps and bounds ahead of me. One of these days I need to do more videos.

I added your video to my Google Plus page for a bit of extra juice. I think I have over 23,000 followers now. (but majority are probably dead beats LOL).

Thanks Debbie:

23,000? How does one achieve that? Hope no sneaky methods. Sign up for the newsletter that should come out at least once a week beginning in late August. It will highlight what's going on and what's coming up.

I believe strongly this will be a large attention getter because it has almost everything...except video responses...that's in the works. It's social out the wazoo, which many don't realize video is. Dan is on the ball...extremely knowledgeable. Only drawback is that I may have to move to PA. I hate the cold... and it's too far from Florida.

Deadbeats? That's almost how I perceive Atlanta contractors. But it's a hopping wood floor market.

LOL Ken on so many levels.

I had maybe around 5,000 followers built up with many organic (and a few shared circles). Somewhere after that, I lucked out and google put me on some sort of recommended user list. I don't quite know how it works, but my guess is that they ask new users questions about their interests, and then based on that, some may follow me automatically. I'm not sure. But, I get all these random people following me and it happened to several others at the same time in mid April. Some get more per day than I do.

Anyway, the reason I say "dead beats" is that I think many people sign up and don't use it more than 1 day. So they are not active users. HOWEVER, if they are still following me...which means down the road, if they do searches for flooring, my posts (or things that I've plussed) are more likely to show up on their results. For me, that's helpful for the ones that are local.

On the video front, I'm hoping to do some end of this month, or more likely Sept/Oct with a friend of mine. But, my approach will be completely different than yours, so we won't be competing. Mine will just tie in w/ my website. This is something I've been meaning to do for over 2 yrs and now I have the budget...and hopefully if I get my new part-time sales guy going, I'll have some time.

Nice refinish job coming up...today and tomorrow I think. Oldish 50's strip floor with carpet pad stuck..I think. Should be interesting..

From Sate College, Pa...gotta love the weather and beautiful farm country...watch out for the Amish buggies!

I love Dan's ingenuity, Ive been impressed with his tools and his determination to get them out to the floor mechanics out there. Glad to see you getting this up and running also Ken, I know you have been at it for a while.

It'll be nice to see a decent video on youtube. So many horrible ones with people who don't know what they are doing.

Thanks for the support folks..

Kevin:

Awhile? OMG. It's almost been four years. But had I gotten into it back then it would have probably been the same old YouTube drivel.
