I have a question about filling in gaps in flooring planks. I recently did my stairs that are open on 3 sides and has an triangle shaped landing. I did hard wood planks on th landing with a landing tread/stair nosing on the 3 opened sides of the landing. As luck would have it none of the angles on the landing we a normal angle, so despite my best efforts the cuts along the longest side of the stair nosing where the flooring planks meet up are not as tight as I would like. I will attach some pictures to show some details. I need to find a product that is flexible (like caulk) to fill in this gap. I used natural red oak so the color is important as well. I have used wood putty, not a big fan, I have also purchased an acrylic product that I haven't used yet. Essentially I have used everything that my local home depot has in stock. Does anyone else have a product that will work in larger jobs that is pliable? Any info would be great.
