So I just had my floors finished in my house and overall the pro's did a great job (3 coats of Oil Poly on Oak and Fur flooring with stain). On the 2nd floor (Fur) there are a few places where there were gaps and some areas that I decided to have them putty. The pro warned me that with time the filler/putty would crack out. Is there any type of filler/putty I can put into small gaps that is slightly flexible that I could put into the gaps on my own once the current filler/putty cracks out?

Does a product of that type exist?

Looks promising, does it dry hard or does it stay flexible?
I'll have to find a local distributor.

Any other recommendations if I can't find this one?

It stays flexible, doesnt attract dirt or shrink, bonds excellent, has a nice finish when set. All in all I cant say enough good about it. The amount of available colors is amaizing, you can zero right in on an exact match, which is usually pretty tough.
Not to mention... it's made for your application. Nothing worse than some substandard filler that's going to cause problems and be an eyesore down the road.

Yes, "Color-rite" is an excellent product. Comes in literally hundreds of colours. Choose the colour you are going to use based on a dried chip on the display, not the way it looks in the tube.

Anyone know where I can find Color Rite in the Phoenix area? I have had poor luck finding floor supplies and the big stores don't seem to carry this.

Thanks,

You can order it directly from Color-Rite @ http://www.colorriteinc.com

Of course, you will need to know what colour you want, or be prepared to send them a sample for colour matching.

I called Color Rite Inc early today and they would ship the tube right out to me. For a color reference, the guy told me to go look at the Behr wood stain colors and he could match it from there.

Looks like a promising product, i'll be picking up a tube of this.
