 Post subject: Filler for missed nail holes?

DIY here. I missed a few nail holes (face nailed Red Oak 2” x 5/16” strips with 15ga Senco nails). The Bona Traffic Semi-gloss is on, and except for the missed nail holes, it turned out absolutely wonderful.

I can live with the results and be happy as is. But if there is a filler that might look better than and stand out less than the occasional nail pit, I would appreciate all suggestions.

Minwax Color Putty from a home improvement store or paint store also works well.It's meant to be used over poly . Just don't use a filler that is meant for raw wood.

Colorite dries hard but stays flexible, and glossy. And doesn't grab dirt like puttys
