I read somewhere that I will need to pre-drill holes when face nailing the Brazilian cherry cuz it'so hard. Ok, what nail do I use? Do I break off some of the regular nails friom the collated strip? They're not round ... do I just drill a small round hole anyway? What about using a 15 ga finish nailer?

Buy some #8 bright finish nails. Take a nail and put it in your chuck. Drill holes with the nail. Drive nails through the holes you make.

Easy peasy. If the nail gets bent or sumpm, install another nail. Using a drill bit is only a little faster and not worth the money lost in little, broken drill bits.

It works. I know.
