Hello,

I've got a sharp 1-1/4" 18 gauge face nail that is sticking up a little more than 1/8" off the floor. I tried pulling at it with some pliers. It straightened the nail up but not sure it will come out.

How do I handle this?

Thx

Wasn't sure which was the better option. I don't know if the nail hit something so it couldn't drive down or if trying to pull it out would likely be unsuccessful. Don't want to dig myself into a situation where it's broken off. Then what.

If it breaks off then all you can do is use the nail set to drive it down and putty it. Or.....pull the plank if its prefinished.
