Does anybody have the measurements for the Bruce Threshold? https://www.bruce.com/en-us/products/trims-and-moldings/11017857z.html

I am starting the second room which has a sliding glass patio door on the wall where the first board will begin. With the door set back from the wall I need to know how much of an gap to leave to allow for both the threshold and the 3/4" expansion gap.

Trying to keep progress going on the project so I don't have to wait for the special order to come in. Appreciate any input.

If you start the job with the edge of the threshold touching the sliding glass door, you will start the flooring an inch and three quarters from the sliding glass door. The threshold is two inches wide. This will leave a 3/4 inch gap under the edge of the threshold.

Thanks for the feedback Pete. If I'm following your reply this would have 1/4" of the threshold sitting on the flooring. That doesn't seem like much, but maybe would be just fine.

Looking at the profile of the threshold, based on your reply I would expect the portion that will sit on the subfloor would be 1" if I'm leaving a 1-3/4" gap. The picture doesn't really make it look like that.

Even looking at the profile on the Bruce website link I shared doesn't look to be half of the width of the threshold. I may just have to wait for the special order to come in so I don't end up with too much or too little gap.
