Hello to all. Family room is 12X16 feet with the 16 ft open to ceramic tiles. Joists are perpendicular to the tiles and the planks (1/2" engineered hardwood) will run parallel to those tiles. I do not like any kind of transition and would prefer to run as close as possible to the tiles when laying the first row that I could glue down (the rest is laid using a Bostitch stapler. The question is : how close can I get to the tiles ? and how to fill the gap with color matched caulking without mess. Thank you
