Here's a last minute solution to a stair landing not on the work order.
The nose was a home depot made for laminate jobby that the customer picked up. eh, he was happy with it.

Your worksmanship looks good! However, I never cared for those "lip-over" stair nosings. I understand the expansion thing for floaters but I just don't care for the solution.

It's a cellphone photo and the floor was yet to be cleaned up yet; thus the dirtiness on the landing.
The product was really nice being "home depot direct". Not sure if Shaw made these or not. Also I don't enjoy using qtr round normally; but this stuff matched perfectly.
