I'm installing engineered flooring on the 2nd floor of my home (approx. 1,300 SF) and am undecided on whether to use 3/8" Anderson Hickory Forge or the 1/2" Virginia Vintage. I will be glueing down. There is a cost difference of approximately $3.00/SF between the two. Should I have any concerns in using 3/8" vs. 1/2"?

Not really. The 1/2" may have a thicker wear layer. I'd measure it and see.

If the Anderson 3/8th product meets your aesthetic expectations, use it. Save the three bucks a foot and send us all dinner coupons.

Hi jefdwd !

Did you go with the Hickory Forge?

If so, did it install and perform as expected? Did all the pieces go togther nice and tight without problem?

How does it look today? Any problems?

Do you have any pictures?

THANKS!

Ben
