You might want to purchase Charles Peterson's book on amazon. $30.00 best investment you could make. He has extensive pictures and information on how to do medallions. He won the best floor design one year.
Every installer should have this book along with Bruce Hoadley's Understanding wood.

Thanks Jim...medallion is installed...but I haven't begun installing the tigerwood yet...I'll look those up...
