I am getting ready to install Anderson Lincoln Plank Engineered wood flooring and was wondering if I could use the Adhesive that Home Depot sells - called General Adhesive for wood flooring.
Anderson called for "Duck" adhesive and can't find that locally.

You can use it BUT doing so will probably void the warranty on your flooring.
Whoever sold you the flooring should sell you the correct adhesive. Anderson may recommend some alternatives which will be acceptable to them. I'd check with Anderson to find out.

Who ever the dealer is that sold you the Anderson flooring, should be able to get you the Anderson Duck Glue, that is required to maintain your warranty.

Although, if there is an aftermarket adhesive with the same properties as the Duck glue, Anderson cannot void a warranty, or demand you use the Duck glue exclusively, unless it is supplied at no cost to you.

Wow, I didn't know this either and thank you so much for that tidbit of info: That sure makes my life a lot easier!!!

This board was a great help with my question!!

I just phoned the company that sold my Anderson flooring and they said as long as the glue is a Poly-based glue - Anderson honors the warranty.

I would just make the call to anderson to confirm.
