About to start a fairly large install of floating engineered merbau planks over the concrete slab in our rancher. Will be doing large living/dining room through hall and three individual bedrooms. Total area is approx 900 sq feet. Longest run is 80 feet and the floor will run in that direction (living/dining down hall and into one of the bedrooms).

Do I have to break up this long run with a transition?
Should I transition into each bedroom?
Our house is in Seattle. Any other tips?
Thanks in advance.

It looksmuch better if you don't break it up, but you need to be very sure you keep a staight line there because it will show every time you walk down the hall. Sounds like thats where I would start my install.
