 Post subject: 3" engineered direction 1. = 2. || 3. \\

Hi, Installing 3" engineered in the main enterance foyer, 4 stairs, dining and LR. Need advice/suggestions on the orientation, should I start with the foyer ||, stairs=, DR/LR || OR have the same orientation for the foyer, stairs, DR/LR (=). Is the orientation a function of the orientation of the plywood underneath (to prevent creaks). Any pictures/references, TIA

normally wood runs across the joists,and all the same direction everywhere.
