My thought is the flooring may have expanded and is tight against some vertical obstruction, like a door jamb. If a floater is installed too tight against obstructions that prevent it from being able to expand, it will not "relax" and lay flat, which can cause noise/squeaks. I would check for that first. If after verifying you have adequate expansion and there is no rubbing, it would be time to get Home Depot out there. Did they install it or did you?
