We had beautiful mahogany flooring installed throughout our main level about three months ago. We didn't want high gloss shine, so we did a satin, no-slip finish. After living with them for awhile, I continue to be disappointed in them. They constantly look dull, flat, dusty, with no sheen at al. I use Bona cleaner and run my automatic Mint sweeper every couple of days . Is there anything we can do shine them up a little short of sanding them down and refinish them?

That gizmo is really hi tech. I need a lawn mower that works like that 8-)

I don't know what to say with your disappointment. Maybe something to do with the no-slip finish? What does the manufacturer say?

There's no way a three month old floor needs refinishing.

the floor shouldnt have to be resanded to change the sheen. It will need to be buffed and recoated but not sanded back to bare wood. The top coat shows the sheen so all you need is a screen and recoat with a semi-gloss and your set.
