Hello, I just finished my first flooring refinishing. Though it is far from perfect I think it came out well for a first timer. The only concern I have is that some areas appear have a weird tint as the finish is drying. I took some pictures of one area. If you look at top center of the photos you''ll notice a spot that is kind of gray. As the stain was drying over night it became rainy outside and stayed liked that for the rest of the day (a lot of humidity) and the next day (today) is unseasonably cool (around 40 degree, NY).

I went over the area with some mineral spirits and some of the stain wiped onto a towel. I am hoping with additional time this would go away as the stain completely dries.

Any help/tips would greatly be appreciated.

Thank you.

Just sand it out by hand ad touch it up.
May be a sweat spot..most likely wont show once finish goes on.
