Not only the floor being higher, your going to need an expansion gap along the threshold, that is going to need a trim or transition molding, which is going to add more height. I use an endcap at all exterior door thresholds.
The job I just got finished with had 3 exterior doors. The front door, the garage door, and the rear attrium door, all had to be removed and raised, or the door would not open at all. They had to have no doors on there home for 3 weeks, just to find a contractor to do the work on the door frames.
