My dog left a nice sized puddle in the middle of my newly installed kahrs engineered floor last night. It must have sat for several hours until I noticed it. I cleaned it up, no stains or damage but am worried it may have soaked between the planks and cause cupping or warping. At this point you can't tell it ever happened, looks perfect......Anything I can or should do at this point to avoid damage to the floor? How long will it take to cup or warp if it does?

Thanks for any help.

Put a fan on it. That is about all you can do.

12 hours later and no issues. I am surprised as it was a large puddle and sat at least 4 hours......unless it just takes longer to show damage.

My 15 year old Beagle has (sadly) had accidents several times on our maple floor. Most of the time we get it cleaned promptly but on rare ocassions it has laid there a while before it was noticed. So far, so good though. No damage yet (knocking on wood)

I would be more concerned with staining than anything else.

It may be time before the wood shows the stains created by Dog Urine, so keep an eye on those areas.
I might suggest searching for a cleaning agent than would help neutralize the urine acids to minimize staining.
