First, many thanks to you guys for providing lots of answers to everyone's questions, that I followed for quite some time before I did this. Also, this is for a lake house, and we started out going to use hickory, but my wife switched the cabinets to maple, so I switched to a country maple that looked a lot like hickory. This is unfinished 3/4 inch by 4 1/4. Around 1200 sq ft. Sanded with a usand. Finished with one coat of bona sealer, then 2 coats of traffic satin. I rolled the sealer and the finish. These pictures are really after the first coat of finish, I don't have pictures after the second coat yet.
Things I learned, I should have spent more time with the coarsest sandpaper, and gotten things just a bit more smooth. But since it was a lake house, and we were going for a rustic look, I don't think it turned out too bad. The satin finish really helps. If you get on your hands and knees you can certainly find sanding issues, otherwise, I think it turned out OK.
I had 1 run where I could see about 35 ft along the boards, and another almost 50ft. I started with the 35ft run, and luckily by the time I got to the hallway into the bedroom that made up the 50ft run I was very close to being straight, and could fix it with the first board.
I know you can find problems, but I'm proud of the results.

Thanks again. I don't seem to be able to get the pictures to show up in this message, sorry about that.
